Nzoia Sugar FC have issued a notice stating they are urgently looking for a head coach to replace Salim Babu, who joined Kenya Police FC as an assistant nearly a fortnight ago after guiding the Millers to a fourth-place finish last season.
Nzoia, who have witnessed a mass exodus of both the playing and coaching staff, are trying to get back on their feet as quickly as possible ahead of the new league season.

The tactician has terminated his contract with the club he led to fourth place in the 2022/23 season.
“The club is currently looking to recruit a qualified head coach to take charge of the team as they prepare to compete in the upcoming 2023/2024 league season,” the statement signed by club chairman Evance Kadenge read.
It also detailed a list of requirements needed to stand a chance of filling the vacant role. Some of the requirements include the willingness to work with and nurture young talents and that candidates must have served as a head or assistant coach in the top flight for the last two years or more.

The 2022–23 season was largely successful for the Millers, who finished the season with 64 points, six behind league winners Gor Mahia.
