Having skillfully led his team to two away league victories and one draw in recent matches, Odoch believes the break is ill-timed, especially considering the team's current momentum.
Express FC's head coach, James Odoch, has voiced his concerns regarding the extended international break.
Having skillfully led his team to two away league victories and one draw in recent matches, Odoch believes the break is ill-timed, especially considering the team's current momentum.
"These international breaks tend to disrupt clubs. They are often drawn out, and I'm unsure about the players' physical and mental state upon returning," said Odoch.
"I anticipate challenges in our next match due to this break. If we were playing next week, it would be beneficial. But as it stands, our hands are tied," he added.

The Portuguese strategist has witnessed his team suffer defeats in their first three league matches and also miss out on qualifying for the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup due to a 5-4 aggregate loss against Libyan outfit Abu Salim.
The Red Eagles commenced their season with a stalemate against Mbarara City at home. This was followed by consecutive victories over Busoga United and KCCA FC.
Odoch, a former Cranes international known for his measured demeanor, had words of praise for defensive midfielder Ramsey Kawooya.
Kawooya delivered a standout performance against KCCA FC this past Sunday, making significant strides in midfield.
"I avoid putting undue pressure on my players and encourage them to relish the game. Ramsey is an exemplary player—composed and astute. His progress is evident with each game," Odoch said.
"I'm equally impressed with the young players and their recent display against KCCA FC. We are honing our skills every day, and I'm confident this will be evident in forthcoming matches."
