"We wish to draw your attention to particular incidents of bad/biased refereeing out of the many that transpired under officiation of Match day center referee, Ali Sabilla Chelengat, as stated below;” Vipers' letter to FUFA stated.

"1. In the 66th Minute Kitara FC was awarded a controversial penalty kick that was never valid as the purportedly fouled player (Jude Ssemugabi) carried out simulation."

"2. In the 87th Minute, a Vipers Sc Player was fouled in the penalty area of Kitara FC right in front of the referee and as such no penalty was awarded to Vipers SC even when it should have been the case."

Vipers further alludes to similar incidents in their 1-0 home defeat to KCCA FC in the Uganda Premier League, where Ali Sabilla Chelengat latter a contentious penalty in the final moments of a crucial game.

"The above among other incidences are just a few cited examples of unfair / biased officiation against Vipers Sc by the above mentioned referee in addition to the last minute penalty he awarded to KCCA FC in match NO. 162 (Vipers SC vs KCCA FC). Attached to this letter are the Videos of the selected incidents.”

“However, it is disturbing and a shame as well that Match officials who officiate Vipers SC Matches such as the one mentioned above are never reprimanded even when the evidence available against them is overwhelmingly clear."
