The youngster had been linked with Manchester United before.
The France international signed a new four-year contract on Thursday, according to Football London, keeping him in north London until at least 2027.
The deal was announced on the club's official website and social media platforms almost 24 hours later.
Romano Fabrizio on Twitter also said, “Official, confirmed. William Saliba signs a new long-term deal at Arsenal valid until June 2027.”
Saliba given No 2 jersey
According to reports, Saliba has been given a new jersey No which he is expected to wear ahead of next season.

Arsenal's official Twitter account also dropped a tweet saying, “New season. New number. Same Wilo.”
London Football reported that the saga of Saliba and the number two shirt began last year when he shared a photo of his brand-new Nike sneakers with the inscription "WS2" on Instagram.
He wore this identical shirt number for Marseille the previous season, therefore the picture clearly demonstrated that he has grown fond of it.
