In a dazzling display, Collins Okumu leads Big Bullets to a 5-1 victory over Dedza Dynamos, shining alongside Clyde Senaji.

Kenyan duo of Collins Okumu and Clyde Senaji took center stage as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets cruised to a resounding 5-1 victory over Dedza Dynamos in the semifinals of the FDH Bank Cup.

This scintillating victory showcased the charisma and prowess of the Malawian giants, who seem destined to continue their dominance in domestic football.

The game kicked off with Okumu giving the home side a blazing start in just the second minute. Chawangwa Gumbo's relentless pressure dispossessed Promise Kamwendo, allowing Okumu to seize the moment.

Winning a crucial free-kick just outside the penalty area, Patrick Mwaungulu curled in a delivery that found the towering Kenyan center-back.

With pinpoint precision, Okumu soared above the defense to head the ball past a helpless Donnex Mwakasinga, handing Big Bullets an early lead.

But the Kenyan influence did not stop there, as Clyde Senaji marshaled the team's defense with poise and determination throughout the match.

The former Tusker FC defender presence on the pitch ensured that Dedza Dynamos found it nearly impossible to breach Big Bullets' backline, reinforcing the crucial role he plays within the team.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets continued to press their advantage, with Anthony Mfune leading the charge with a remarkable brace.

Hassan Kajoke and MacFarlane Mgwira also added their names to the scoresheet, further solidifying the Bullets' dominance.

Gift Magora managed to salvage some pride for the Kachewere boys by netting a consolation goal, but it proved to be too little, too late.

This scintillating victory was not an isolated feat for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the FDH Bank Cup. Last season, they hammered Mighty Mukuru Wanderers 4-0 at the Bingu National Stadium, showcasing their relentless pursuit of glory in domestic competitions.

With a total of nine goals in just two semifinals, it is clear that the Bullets are a force to be reckoned with.

Looking ahead, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will square off against Mafco FC in the final, having earned their place with a hard-fought 1-0 away win against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium last Saturday.

The defending champions have undeniably dominated domestic football for quite some time, leaving their closest rivals, Wanderers and Silver, struggling to maintain consistency with a series of mixed outcomes in each season.

As the People's Team, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets not only shine on the local stage but are also favorites to retain the TNM Super League championship this season.
