Nigeria Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has won the Nottingham Forest Goal of the Month for November.

Nigerian defender Ola Aina has been rewarded with the Nottingham Forest Goal of the Month for his stunning goal against Aston Villa in November. 

Aina’s stylish and impactful strike inspired Forest to a well-deserved 2-0 win against the in-form Villians early last month. 

 Aina’s Remarkable Goal

In the clash against Villa at the City Ground, the Super Eagles defender captured the imagination of fans and football lovers. 

The 27-year-old opened the scoring against Villa with an excellent low drive from outside the box to give Forest a fifth-minute lead.

Ola’s goal showed his ability and demonstrated his skill to make an impact in the attacking third. 

It was his first goal for the club, with the Reds taking to their socials to praise the Nigerian; “Ola opens his account in some style.”

Nottingham Forest’s Recognition

Over a month after that goal helped Forest to a famous win against Villa, the club has now rewarded the former Chelsea star.

The stylish strike and its significance in the game resonated with the fans and everyone associated with the club.

Forest revealed the Goal of the Month winner through their social media account. 

“Some strike @Aina2Ola's opener against Aston Villa has been voted as your November Goal of the Month,” the club posted on X.com

Ola Aina has made 11 appearances this season for Nottingham Forest and contributed to two goals in the Premier League.
