Ola Aina's contract is yet to be renewed by Torino meaning they stand to lose him for free in the summer
Ola Aina is in the final year of his contract at Torino, and there are reports from Italian newspaper Tuttosport that Premier League side Leeds might be looking to pounce.
Aina was close to leaving Torino last summer after losing his place in the team, with the Turin-based club failing to get their €12 million valuation of him.
He has since reestablished his place in the team prompting Torino to start talks of a new two-year contract in September.
Ola Aina to Leeds
Ola Aina's contract is yet to be renewed by Torino meaning they stand to lose him for free in the summer, however, reports suggest they would try to offload him in January with strong interest from Premier League side Leeds.
The 26-year-old naturally plays right-back, a position you would associate with Luke Ayling for The Whites. However, the 31-year-old has since lost his place under relatively new manager Jesse Marsh. He has started only one game this season with Dane Rasmus Kristensen preferred over him.
Reports suggest Luke Ayling might be on his way out of the club, making way for the Nigerian.
Leeds to sign Ola Aina January or Summer
Leeds could sign Ola Aina on a pre-contract agreement this January in preparation for the summer with Rasmus and Ayling already having the position covered.
Torino could beat their price down significantly to avoid losing him on a free, convincing Leeds to go for a permanent move this January.
