Oliver Majak has revealed his objectives in a Kakamega Homeboyz shirt after making his debut during their 2-1 win over KCB.
Kakamega Homeboyz new boy Oliver Majak has promised to push as hard as he can in order to help the side achieve their objectives this season.
Majak signed in the mid-season from Gituru FC and featured for Homeboyz as they beat KCB 2-1 at the Police Sacco Stadium last Sunday , which got Majak’s FKFPL career off to a flier.
Speaking to the club’s social media handles, Majak revealed the encouragement he gained from his performance against the Bankers which he hopes can spur the side to achieve its objectives after a blip in form.
“I feel good. I actually started with a win and I feel it encouraged me,” Majak said.

FOOTBALL Kenya drop in latest FIFA ranking after missing at AFCON 2023
Kenya have dropped in the latest FIFA ranking thanks to Harambee Stars’ failure to participate at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
“I will work hard and keep pushing myself to help the team.”
Head coach Patrick Odhiambo had revealed he would be building his side around a youthful core of players including Majak in early January.
“I want to use my junior players in the team to bring change and we hope to perform well this year because we are in the title contest,” said Odhiambo.
The victory steered them safely within the title contention bracket in the cutthroat top-tier competition where they currently place seventh with 32 points— 12 adrift of leaders Gor Mahia.

FOOTBALL Ambrose Rachier explains why Gor Mahia have had rifts with Football Kenya Federation in recent years
Rachier has revealed the big factor he thinks has made Gor Mahia have ‘bad blood’ with Football Kenya Federation in recent years.
“The title is still within our reach and it all depends on how we fair in our remaining matches,” Odhiambo stated.
“I guess you are aware that whereas league leaders Gor have won 12 matches this season, we have won nine. That clearly shows you that there is very minimal difference in our performances and we are almost at par,” he added.
With this approach, Homeboyz aims to capitalize on the talent and energy of young players like Majak to rejuvenate the team's performance and contend for the championship.
