The Harambee Stars captain has netted in each of Al Duhail's opening league encounters.

Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga was on the scoresheet yet again as Al Duhail drew 3-3 with Al Arabi in a pulsating  Qatari Stars League encounter played at the Al Thumama Stadium on Saturday.

Olunga attempted three shots on target, but missed two big chances in the process, as he could have scored a hattrick on another day.

He attempted one successful take on and attempted one key pass. Off the ball, he also looked decet, as he won two of his five ground duels attempted, made one clearance and blocked two shots.

Olunga has now scored four goals from three league matches, finding the net in each of the three games.

Olunga netted the opening goal  in the 5th minute by Olunga before  Al Arabi equalized in the 13th minute through Abdou Diallo.

Duhail took the lead again in the second half thanks to an own goal from Diallo in the 58th minute but they would soon restore parity again in the 71st minute thanks to  Abdullah Maarafie’s goal.

In the 91st minute, substitute Ismail Mohamed took advantage of a well-executed cross ball by Al Moez Ali to score what momentarily looked like a winner, but in the final minute of the added time, Al Arabi would score yet again through Omar Al Soma.

The rest of the Harambee Stars squad is now expected to link up and join Olunga in Qatar, as they will be facing the Maroons on September 7 in an international friendly as Engin Firat continues to build a side that will be competitive enough in time for the World Cup qualifiers that are set to commence in November.
