Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana has helped Manchester United to a major Premier League record after keeping yet another clean sheet for his new club.

Onana has been heavily criticised for his start to life at Old Trafford, but the Cameroonian goalkeeper has still kept five clean sheets in the Premier League, the most of any goalkeeper this campaign.
The former Inter and Ajax goalkeeper has made the third-most saves in the Premier League this season, and has also prevented the second-most goals in the league, meaning his time with Manchester United has been a lot better than popularly perceived.
Onana has also helped Manchester United become the team with the most clean sheets in Premier League history.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper’s fifth clean sheet of the 2023/24 season, earned in Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Everton, was recognised as the Red Devils’ 500th clean sheet in Premier League history, the most of any team in the competition.
Along with club greats like Peter Schmeichel, Edwin van der Sar, and David de Gea, who added hundreds of clean sheets to Manchester United’s tally, Onana will be fondly remembered for being the goalkeeper who helped the Red Devils cross the finish line of 500 games without conceding a goal.
