He boasts versatility across the attacking front and the wing, a sleek left foot and decent playmaking abilities, as well as an eye for a goal.
FUFA Big League side Onduparaka FC have unveiled attacking midfielder Faizal Ssekyanzi on a one-year contract with an option for renewal.
Until the end of the previous campaign, Ssekyanzi was contracted to Express FC in the Uganda Premier League.
"Attacking Midfielder Faizal Sekyanzi has joined us on a one year renewable contract from UPL side Express FC," the Caterpillars confirmed earlier on Wednesday.
Ssekyanzi is fondly remembered for scooping the 2015/16 FUFA Junior League Most Valuable Player award after scintillating displays with Express Junior Team.
He boasts versatility across the attacking front and the wing, a sleek left foot and decent playmaking abilities, as well as an eye for a goal.
However, last season, he had limited playing time with the 'Mukwano Gwabangi' as he only played 13 league games, many of which were substitute appearances.
From the Express academy, he left them for Tooro United before rejoining them at the start of the 2020/21 season.
He is expected to help stir Onduparaka's attack as they aim to bounce back instantly from the Big League to the Uganda Premier League.
