A win for Sundowns will stretch the 21 point gap to 24 ahead of second placed Richards Bay FC.

Ugandan Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Dennis Onyango won't be carried away with his side's top form which has seen his side win 14 straight league games.

The gangly shot stopper who recently returned to the first team squad has spoken out ahead of Sundowns's huge league clash away to Orlando Pirates on Saturday afternoon.

He insists the Mamelodi Sundowns' fans will play a huge role to spur the team on.

"For me it's a tough game," Onyango told Supersport TV after the team's last training session.

It does not matter how we have been performing in the past games because Pirates have equally done well (won their last three in a row) but we shall go all out."

"Our fans definitely always play a huge role and we except them to come out in large numbers in the stands, the yellow nation keeps us going," he added.

Onyango returned to the first team during the 2-1 win against TS Galaxy after playing second fiddle to Ronwen Williams for the most part of the first round.

He then made a second straight start in the 2-0 win against Sekhukhune United.

A win for Sundowns will stretch the 21 point gap to 24 ahead of second placed Richards Bay FC.
