Despite attaining a lot of success, Onyango has revealed the achievement that stands out amongst the many he has had.
"All trophies are significant, but the first one that I won with SuperSport United is my favourite," the 38-year-old was quoted by Goal.com before adding.
"It was special, and it will remain special because I was in a new country and league, and I won it with the then-so-called small team."
"But winning three straight Premier Soccer League titles was massive for me, and having a different culture around me was very sweet."
Onyango added: "But the 10th was very sweet too because I am the only one with ten league titles, and I am looking for more."
His revelation shows that winning his first and 10th PSL titles are moments that shall never go off his mind.
The former SC Villa custodian won three straight PSL titles with SuperSport in 2007/08, 2008/09, and 2009/10 seasons.
He clinched his other seven league trophies at his current club Mamelodi Sundowns, in 2015/16, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, and 2022/23 campaigns.
Winning the 2016 CAF Champions League and being named the African-based African Player of the Year during the same year are the other outstanding achievements Onyango recorded.
