The Brazilians have been in devastating form on the domestic front, winning the league for a sixth straight time with six games to spare.

Former Uganda Cranes Cranes captain Denis Onyango is back in familiar territory, playing in the CAF Champions League semifinal as Masandawana face Wydad Casablanca.

The Brazilians have been in devastating form on the domestic front, winning the league for a sixth straight time with six games to spare.

They also went unbeaten in the group stages, picking up four wins and a draw scoring 14 goals in the process.

Head coach Rhulani Mokwena knows what is at stake against Wydad in Morocco, having made the exhausting 11-hour trip: "But it's going to be a good game."

"Against a team that, of course, is the defending champions, (has) good pedigree in the Champions League."

"Many years of competing, but it's going to be an interesting game between two good teams, good players."

"And we have to fight, and nothing is given on a silver platter and enjoy the opportunity because these moments come once in a lifetime," Mokwena added.

Simba's 1-0 win over Wydad in Dar-es-Salaam is the latter's only loss in 17 games, but the Brazilians will be counting on red-hot forward Peter Shalulie, who has scored five goals on the continent and 12 in the league.

Esperance against record CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly is the other semifinal, with both teams squaring off in the first leg on Friday night in Tunis.
