Prolific Manchester United goalscorer Andy Cole believes signing Victor Osimhen for a mouthwatering fee does not guarantee the Red Devils the Premier League title next season.
Victor Osimhen’s inclusion into Manchester United squad in the summer will not help the club challenge for the Premier League title next season, Andy Cole claims.
The Red Devils are keen on adding a few legs to their squad to help them compete for the league title next season.

3 Reasons Kane is more suitable for Manchester United than Osimhen
Harry Kane to Manchester United is more of a better signing than Victor Osimhen. The Spurs striker has been consistent in the last five years doing what he know how to do best.
And Erik Ten Hag has Napoli striker Osimhen who has scored 25 times in the Serie A on his radar for a big summer money move this summer.
What Andy Cole said about Osimhen
However, 1999 treble winning forward with United Cole believes signing a few players will not do the team any good to challenge Man City for the title next term.
The former England international has tipped Pep Guardiola’s side to emerge favourites again for their dominance in the English topflight division.
Cole said, while speaking on behalf of BoyleSports about FA Cup odds.
“No, Manchester United can’t win the league next season. It frustrates me when people think that buying two more players, we can then win the league. So why are Manchester City in such a good position if all it takes is buying two players? Make it make sense. Two players, including Victor Osimhen, can’t help Manchester United compete for the league title.
“Unless Manchester City don’t buy anyone this summer and say ‘we’ll let everyone catch us up.’ Football doesn’t work like that, so I’m honest when people ask if Manchester United can compete for the league title next season, I say no.”
