Napoli were already crowned the league winners weeks back but were looking to end the season which they got by defeating Sampdoria 2-0.

Osimhen is enjoying his best campaign yet and has been arguably the best player for Napoli this season.
The second half resumed and the home side increased their intensity. Their pressure paid off in the 62nd minute when a penalty was awarded to Napoli due to a foul committed by Nicola Murru.
Ermano Feliciani blew his whistle after Nicola Murru kicked an opponent's legs instead of the ball. Victor Osimhen then stood firm, ran up to the ball, stopped and waited for Martin Turk to commit before slotting the penalty into the right of the goal.
Napoli added the second goal of the game late in the second half leaving Sampdoria hopeless. In the 85th minute, Giovanni Simeone received a quality pass, made a yard for himself and smashed a jaw-dropping long-range shot inside the right post.
Luciano Spalletti Men made the last game of the season look easy with a 2-0 win over Sampdoria as they gave the fans a happy 2022/2023 ending.
