Victor Osimhen could continue at Galatasaray beyond his season-long loan deal.
Galatasaray's deputy chairman Ibrahim Hatipoglu has rubbished reports suggesting that Victor Osimhen could leave the club in January should an offer for a permanent transfer arrive.
The Cim-Bom swooped in to save the day after the transfer window had closed, following a protracted saga in which the Nigerian's desired exit from Napoli to a top European club fell through.

Galatasaray unveils Super Falcons star Tosin Demehin
Super Falcons of Nigeria star Tosin Demehin will join Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray.
He joined the Turkish Super Lig side on a season-long loan deal, but there are rumours there is a break clause in the contract that would allow him to leave Galatasaray in January should any club manage to match Napoli's ask. A member of the club's hierarchy has now come out to dispel the notion.
What the Galatasaray chief said
According to the Turkish publication NTVSpor, the 55-year-old administrator stated in clear terms that Osimhen will not leave in the January transfer window.
He went on to explain that they are making an effort to keep Osimhen beyond the one-season stipulated in his loan deal, as he believes the player is happy to continue at the club.
“Osimhen’s leaving in January is out of the question,” he said. “In fact, we are making plans to have Osimhen play next season as well.
“Osimhen is a Galatasaray player until June. Discussing this is aimed at changing the agenda, at spoiling the pleasure of watching Osimhen. The player shows how devoted he is to Galatasaray in every match.
“A person plays where he is happy. He has a contract with us until the end of the season. He is very happy to have come to Galatasaray.
“We should think about how he will be together with Osimhen in the following seasons. There is no need to discuss whether he will leave during the break.”
Chelsea were one of the clubs that came close to landing Osimhen before the transfer window shut, and according to Super Eagles legend, Mikel Obi, they will return for him in the near future. Galatasaray's plans could, however, throw a spanner in their works.
