Napoli's Victor Osimhen moves closer to a new deal as his agent is spotted in the Serie A champions' training base
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen inches closer to a new contract with Napoli following his agent Roberto Calenda’s arrival in Italy to finalise negotiations for his new deal.
Osimhen set for new Napoli contract
Calenda was spotted in Napoli’s Castel Di Sangro training camp, where the Partenopei are holding pre-season preparations for the 2023/24 season to negotiate the details of Osimhen’s contract, which is expected to keep the Super Eagles forward at the Serie A side until 2027.

Osimhen’s new contract will reportedly be worth up to €7 million or €7.5 million as the Partenopei look to tie their top player to a new contract this season.
After sealing an extension for 2022/23 Serie A MVP Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Osimhen’s renewal is the next step in Napoli keeping the best parts of their Scudetto winners together.
Napoli looking to tie down best palyers
Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia were inspirational in Napoli’s first Serie A title in 33 years, helping the Partenopei claim the 2022/23 Scudetto with superb performances along the way.
Osimhen finished the season as the league’s top scorer with 26 goals in 32 appearances, adding a further five assists to his impressive numbers from the campaign.
The Nigerian striker’s current deal expires in 2025, but with clubs circling for his signature, Napoli are desperate to extend Osimhen’s current deal and keep him as part of the set up for the foreseeable future.
