Chelsea and Arsenal have been handed fresh hope in the pursuit of Victor Osimhen despite the striker's loan move to Galatasaray.
Victor Osimhen continues to dominate headlines after completing a loan move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The Nigerian striker was heavily sought after by some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and PSG, but due to several factors ranging from an unreasonable release clause to huge wages, he remained a Napoli player after the deadline.

Osimhen's move to Galatasaray came with two key stipulations; Firstly, his release clause has been significantly reduced from €130million to €75m, making him a more attainable target. Additionally, Napoli can extend his contract to 2027 if he's not sold next summer.
Crucially, Osimhen has also negotiated a January break clause in his loan deal, allowing him to join a top European club if they come calling.
According to reports, only a select few clubs can trigger this clause - with Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich all rumored to be on the list.
The Blues, in particular, will be thrilled by this report as Enzo Maresca has made little secret of his desire to sign an elite goalscorer.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are undoubtedly thrilled to have secured the services of one of the world's top strikers, even if it's only for a short-term loan spell. Landing Osimhen, albeit temporarily, is a major coup for the Turkish giants
