Patrick Owomoyela shared a video of the nasty bike crash on his official Instagram account.

Borussia Dortmund legend Patrick Owomoyela has suffered a terrible bike accident on the mountain.

Pulse Sports Nigeria can report this after the former Yellow and Black star posted the video on his social media page.

The former Germany International was due to take part in the legends clash between his former club Dortmund and rivals Bayern Munich but missed the game due to the crash per Bild.

Owomoyela suffers a nasty crash

The 43-year-old has become known for his love for extreme sports had a misadventure this time on one of those trips.

He uploaded the video of his nasty crash on a mountain bike with a question for his followers and fans while in hospital on Sunday.

“When you think you know the sleep track,” he posted in parts alongside the video of the crash.

Owomoyela seemed to have enjoyed being airlifted from the crash site to the hospital by a helicopter.

“Heli flight then, single room with a view and breakfast in bed,” he added.

He also demanded for fans recommend some series while he recuperates from surgery for a broken cheekbone.

“Does anyone have a series to recommend?” he quizzed. Got some time now.”

Meanwhile, German outfit Bild noted that the former Dortmund star recorded his crash and shared it across all his channels.
