Shabana coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo is confident that his team will not be dragged into a relegation battle again next season.
Pamzo managed to rescue Shabana from the jaws of relegation after coming in midseason with Tore Bobe going through a rough time before safety was achieved in the final match of the season.
Now, their coach feels he understands them better and has a plan on how he intends to make their top flight stay comfortable in 2024-25.

With the season finale looming Tore Bobe are aiming to secure league safety against Murang’a Seal amid a tight relegation battle.
“I have been with this team for six months and now I know how things are done,” Pamzo told Radio 47on Saturday.
“One thing I know is that next season Shabana will not be fighting relegation.
“Not title contenders but midtable team, let us not put pressure on them. Shabana are still a small team even if the name is big.

Shabana coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo feels Gor Mahia are not good enough to challenge for titles and are only helped by their underperforming Kenyan rivals.
“We were just promoted the other day then we tried as much as we could to avoid relegation.”
Part of Pamzo’s strategy to avoid the chop is to ensure they make Gusii Stadium a fortress. The Glamour Boys hosted most of their games in Homa Bay last season as Gusii Stadium underwent renovation but there is confidence that it will be ready for use in the coming campaign.
“We have to set realistic goals and as a coach, I want us to win all our home games. I will pass this message to the players because at home everything is in our favour,” he added.

Pamzo took over and equally struggled in the early days of his reign before he steadied the ship to save them from the chop.
