Super Falcons Predict: Oshoala, Nnadozie and other superstars pick Spain over England for Euro 2024 final
Nigeria's Super Falcons including Asisat Oshoala and Chiamaka Nnadozie have shared their predictions for the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England.
Marta speaks highly of Nnadozie
Marta spoke highly of Super Falcons goalkeeper Nnadozie and labelled her a great goalkeeper.
She told Globo, "It was frustrating (the disallowed goal), of course. But the most important thing is that we didn't complain, we kept chasing and then we managed to find a pass for Gabi, she was lucky and scored the winning goal.
"I was very emotional at that moment, I felt like I was scoring the goal too. I saw Gabi's movement, I managed to pass it perfectly and she hit a great shot, beating the Nigerian goalkeeper, who is a great goalkeeper."
Marta had the chance to tie the record for the most goals scored in an Olympic competition, taking into account both men's and women's competitions and was the focus point during the game against Nigeria.
Despite not scoring in the opening game, she set up Gabi Nunes for what turned out to be the game-winning assist with a crafty reverse pass, which Nunes controlled with two touches before launching the ball past Nnadozie.
Nnadozie will be looking to continue her goalkeeping form when Nigeria face Japan and Spain in their next games.
