Following Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid, PSG have sought to replace the France star with Napoli's duo of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
French giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered Napoli €202 million (approximately ₦356 billion) to part with their star attacking duo Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
As PSG hope to replace Kylian Mbappe, who departed for Real Madrid this summer, they have identified the Napoli duo as the perfect players to take over from where the French man stopped.
PSG make offer for Osimhen Kvaratskhelia
According to the Italian outlet, Corriere dello Sport, PSG have taken the first step to price Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia by offering €202m to Napoli for both players ahead of the 2024/25 season.
PSG have been long-term admirers of both Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen, with Mbappe’s departure fast-tracking Les Parisiens’ need for one or both players.
Napoli were unwilling to sell both players in the last summer transfer window, but events during the previous season could force Napoli’s hand to sell.
Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia set for Napoli exit
Osimhen’s future at Napoli has been settled since he signed a new contract with the Partenopei, which contains a €130 million release clause. If PSG can trigger the release clause, then Osimhen’s signing will only depend on the player’s willingness to move to France.
Following Kvaratskhelia's agent’s statement that his client would be willing to leave Napoli this summer for the promise of European football, the Georgia international’s future in Italy has also come under speculation with €100m believed to be the price tag set by the 2023 Scudetto winners for their star forward.
PSG will be hoping that their €202m bid for both players will be enough to get Napoli to the negotiating table, especially with both players vocal about their willingness to make a move this summer.
