Evra’s reacts to United’s win
Maguire continued his redemption by scoring the decisive winner, a towering late header before Onana pulled off a stunning late save from the spot to deny the visitors.
Two of the most criticised Manchester United players this season combined to inspire the Red Devils to their first win of the season in the UCL.
The win sees United reignite their UCL hopes, moving to within just a point of second-placed Galatasaray, who sit in the final qualifying spot.
Following the win, former United defender, Evra, took to his social media to react as he praised Onana and Maguire before sending a passionate plea to United fans.
Per his post on Instagram, Evra said; “I’m begging all my Manchester United fans to keep supporting every players on this team.”
“Thank you, Harry Maguire and Andre Onana, never give up,” the post concluded.
Message to United fans
Meanwhile, after the message on his official account, the former left-back went to the club’s account to leave a message for the fans,
Per United in focus, Evra called on fans to halt the hostility directed at players and support them instead.
“The hate have to stop, please,” the former Champions League winner added.
Evra was not the only ex-player who reacted to the United win over Copenhagen.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reported that former Arsenal superstar, Mesut Ozil, could not hide his admiration for Maguire and Onana.
Ozil took to his X.com page to praise the United duo for proving their haters wrong with their performances.
