Stuart Mutebi scored the only goal of the game for Makerere University Business School (MUBS) to edge Bugema University 1-0 in the second leg of the Pepsi University Football League (UFL) quarterfinal played in Nakawa on Tuesday.
Mutebi broke the deadlock late in the 86th minute and the visitors could not respond.
A slim victory was enough for the Nakawa-based institution to advance to the semifinals 1-0 on aggregate following a goalless draw in the first leg in Bugema.
MUBS joins Uganda Christian University (UCU) who were the first team to book their semifinal spot after eliminating Makerere University (MAK) on away goals rule.

They now have a chance to go all the way and claim a second UFL title given that the 2019 silverware remains their only triumph in the competition.
After a 2-1 defeat in Makerere, UCU edged MAK 1-0 and qualified following a 2-2 aggregate score.
