Matchday four of the 2023 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship was full of Drama as Dannaz Ladies and Honey Badgers ended the unbeaten runs of Ekiti Queens and Lakeside Queens, respectively.

As Mosaku Bisola's first goal for Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens was canceled out by Itobore Destiny, Delta babes picked up its second point of the game, continuing its struggle for survival.

Adeusi Aalaba's penalty goal and Ogadinma Ndekani's goal gave Pelican Stars a 2-0 victory over Kwara Ladies.

Sunshine Queens defeated Imo Striker Queens 2-1 thanks to goals from Moyin Owolabi and Oscar Precious, who helped the Owerri-based team close the gap.

Dannaz Ladies are in first place in Group A with nine points, followed by Pelican Stars with nine, Ekiti Queens with nine, DreamStar Ladies with six, Kwara Ladies with three, and Moje Queens with zero.

With nine points more than Sunshine Queens (nine points behind Lakeside Queens), Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens (seven points), Honey Badgers (four points), Imo Striker Queens (three points), and Delta Babes (two points), Lakeside Queens continue to lead Group B.
