Initially on loan at Barcelona last season, this Portuguese star is prepared to receive a reduced salary to continue at the club.
Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo is reportedly prepared to take a pay cut to join Barcelona this summer.
The 30-year-old spent last season on loan with the Catalan giants and although the LALIGA side are prepared to extend their association with him, their finances have complicated such an action. However, Cancelo is prepared to take a financial hit to see the deal happen.

Barcelona expecting massive Saudi offer for shocking first team star
LALGA giants Barcelona are reportedly anticipating a huge big from Al-Hilal for one of their players.
What happened
Initially a package deal with Joao Felix from super agent Jorge Mendes to Barcelona last summer, Cancelo will seemingly be the only one of the two, if any, to play at the Montjuic/ Camp Nou next season.
Atletico Madrid’s ask has priced the Blaugrana out of a move for Felix, and they are also struggling to meet Manchester City’s valuation for Cancelo.
Barcelona are reportedly working on another loan deal for the Portuguese right-back, with an obligation to buy. The defender is not Barcelona's priority target this summer, however, as they are focusing their limited resources on landing Nico Williams and Dani Olmo.
However, Cancelo, according to a report from Sport, is prepared to make a gesture to show his determination to continue at Barcelona. According to the report, the former Valencia man is willing to take a pay cut to ease the financial strain a deal could have on Barcelona's pockets.
He has also refused to negotiate with any other club, forcing the Premier League champions to listen to Barcelona's offer.
