Real Madrid could be made to pay more than money in their pursuit of PSG star Kylian Mbappe as the French side will reportedly try to take players from Los Blancos in return
French giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly decided to approach four Real Madrid players as they look to get back at the LaLiga giants for poaching star forward Kylian Mbappe.
PSG looking to make Real Madrid pay for poaching Mbappe
Mbappe is expected to depart PSG for Real Madrid either this summer or next summer and the move has drawn the anger of the Paris club who are certain the striker’s decision not to extend his current contract is due to the France international having a deal in place with Los Blancos already.
PSG are keen to sell Mbappe this summer for a sizeable fee, rather than next summer for free, and have already made efforts to pressure the Frenchman into leaving by dropping him out of their pre-season tour of Japan and forcing him to train with the reserves.
Les Parisiens reportedly also intend to punish Real Madrid by trying to sign some of Los Blancos’ players to prove their superiority over the Spanish side.
PSG eye Real Madrid stars in revenge plot
According to reports from SPORT, PSG have targeted Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, Rodrygo and youngster Nico Paz as possible revenge signings from Real Madrid this summer on in future should Mbappe complete a deal to Los Blancos.
Camavinga and Tchouameni have not yet reached the heights expected of them thanks to the presence of established legends like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in the starting XI, while Rodryg could be forced out of the club due to the tactical shakeup caused by Mbappe joining, making them prime targets for PSG.
Nico Paz, the least recognised name on PSG’s alleged list will also be a significant loss to Real Madrid as the Argentine midfielder is a highly-rated youngster from Los Blancos Castilla academy and could present a huge loss in future.
Los Blancos will have to make do with or without PSG’s favoured foursome and will need to be in their best form if they are to dislodge Barcelona from the top of LaLiga and claim a first crown since the 2020;
