Viktoria Plzen excited about Dosunmu
The Czech-based side announced on their official channels that they have signed the young forward from Karvina on loan for the remainder of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent.
"He is a talented player who has excellent speed, height, and age parameters to make the next step in his career, and I believe that he can take this step right here," Daniel Kolar, the club's sporting director, said via the club website.
"We promise him that he will increase the competition in our team and fight for his chance."
Viktoria get an exciting talent
Viktoria Plzen have gotten themselves an exciting new talent who is elated to join them.
"I am happy that I got such a chance. I watched Victoria's matches in the Champions League, they are a really big team, and I have to do my best to be able to make it," Durosinmi said at his unveiling.
Rafiu Durosinmi is a powerful young forward with a lot of technique.
His impressive striking power, coupled with his ability to get away from defenders, helped him score 10 goals in 39 games for Karvina.
Durosinmi is also one who is able to set up teammates in offensive situations and has made a pass that directly led to a goal six times in his time at Karvina.
The Czech Pro League is a higher level than the second division Durosinmi has been playing in, and he is coming into the dressing room of the current league leaders.
However, the Lagos-born forward has shown a level of talent that Viktoria have identified as useful to them.
