Barcelona winger Raphinha looks ahead to next season despite links out of the club.

Barcelona winger Raphinha already has next season's successes on his mind after Barcelona's league win, despite strong links away from the club.

The 26-year-old only recently joined the Blaugrana from Leeds in the summer of 2022 on a long-term deal; however, their financial straits had condemned them to a summer of sales, and Raphinha is viewed as a sellable asset, but the Brazilian has not shown inclination or desire to leave his 'dream' club.

What Raphinha said

The Catalan giants were crowned LaLiga champions yesterday after a 4-2 victory over Espanyol.

The club engaged in a trophy parade today, showing off their league title in the men's and women's games, and Raphinha, who was part of the celebrations, spoke on further successes.

The Brazil international has been a key part of Barcelona's league win, adequately replacing the injured Dembele, and his assist created one of their four goals last night.

Despite links taking him back to the Premier League, the former Sporting Lisbon man is already talking about the next season, saying he is happy at the club and that his stay has been better than anticipated. He wants to win more trophies with Barcelona, and he says they will go for more success next term.

“I’m very happy, it’s better than I imagined," Raphinha admitted.

"Next season, we will try to achieve more things.”

Meanwhile, Real Madrid's priority is to sign Kylian Mbappé, but if they fail to get a deal over the line for the Frenchman, Osimhen would be their next move
