Rashford has broken his silence on Instagram and reacted to Man United's win despite his shock axing.
The striker wrote on social media, "Yes! "Love it, guys," as Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo sealed the win in the final three minutes.
A home photo from the match's TV broadcast, showing Rashford in a pleasant room with a Christmas tree, was shown with his excited remarks.
The picture showed Lisandro Martinez and Diallo, both with their backs to the camera, sprinting back to the halfway line following the latter's victory.
