Toni Kroos was sent off to a rapturous ovation by the Santiago Bernanbeu in his final home game for Real Madrid in a draw against Real Betis.
Despite the match being a mere dead rubber, with both teams having sealed their fate for the season, Real Madrid and Real Betis played competitively and ended up sharing the spoils in a goalless draw.
Los Blancos had since wrapped up the league title, and with the defeat to Real Sociedad the previous gameweek, the Heliopolitans were confirmed to finish seventh. They still had to honour the match schedule and played an entertaining draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.
