PSG manager Luis Enrique is not happy with French superstar Kylian Mbappe despite inspiring the club to an emphatic win at Reims.

Paris Saint-Germain, PSG’s manager, Luis Enrique, has taken an unexpected stance after calling out Kylian Mbappe following the club’s commanding win against Reims.

The defending champions thrashed their hosts 3-0, with Mbappe stealing the show after he netted all the goals for PSG in an excellent performance.

But despite the heroics that inspired the defending champions to a comfortable victory, the PSG manager was not dissatisfied with Mbappe.

The 24-year-old showed again why he is one of the best in the world as he led his French giants to a convincing win.

Mbappe’s skill and goalscoring prowess lit up Stade Auguste-Delaune on Saturday evening, with three goals, two of which were scored in the second half.

He opened the scoring as early as the third minute to give the away side a slim 1-0 lead at the break.

Mbappe would double the lead just before the hour mark to make it 2-0, with the former Monaco man adding a third eight minutes from time to complete his hat-trick and the win for PSG.

However, Mbappe’s performance on the night may have impressed everyone but his manager, Enrique.

“I have nothing to say about the goals, but he can help the team in another way.

"I will talk about it with him first, but they are private conversations,” he added. “Kylian is one of the best players in the world, but we want more. We want him to do more."

Mbappe’s hattrick against Reims sees him add to his tally this season, with the former World Cup winner having now scored 13 goals and assisted one in 11 appearances this season in Ligue 1.

PSG will host Mbappe’s former club AS Monaco next after the international break, with Enrique hoping to see more from his superstar forward.
