FKFPL McKinstry on why he is hungry for more title success at Gor Mahia
The Northern Irish tactician reveals the reason he is determined to keep winning trophies with K'Ogalo after coaching the side to their 20th title.
“We have made all the payments and we are awaiting the communication from FIFA. So far, we have not received it but we are confident that it will come soon,” said Gor Mahia CEO Raymond Oruo.
While Gor are yet to officially receive the greenlight, it is believed that FIFA has already made the communication to Football Kenya Federation who are set to inform K’Ogalo in due course.
Gor received a blow last month when they were kicked out of the CAF Champions League due to delayed payment of money owed to ex-players Ulimwengu, Sando Yangayay, and Adama Keita and while they paid up, it was way past the deadline, seeing them miss out on continental football.
Johnathan McKinstry’s side have been in pre-season camp in Thika where their new signings Kevin Omondi, Rooney Onyango, Alvin Ochieng, Kennedy Onyango, Kevin Juma, and Lawrence Juma have been training with the rest while awaiting clearance so that they can be registered.
