It is the battle for supremacy for who has the best academy in Nigeria when Remo Stars and Plateau United go head-to-head in the final of NPFL LaLiga U-15 Promises.
Remo Stars and Plateau United are the two clubs represented in the final of the ongoing NOFL LaLiga Under-15 Promises in the city of Ikenne, Ogun.
Remo’s football academy, Beyond Limits, and Plateau’s Mees Palace will go head-to-head in the final of the competition to decide which of the clubs has the best football academy in the country on Friday.
These two sides have proven so far to be at the top of academy football in the country and have impressed at the NPFL LaLiga competition.

Mees Palace’s journey
In the first semifinal of the day, Mees were pushed to the wall by a stubborn Sunshine Stars of Akure starlets.
Inspired by the inspirational Umar Bala, the Plateau United youngsters survived to become the first team to book their place in the final following a 2-1 win.
Bala opened the doors of victory with one of the goals of the competition in a highly competitive first 45 minutes before Sunshine drew level heading into the break.

The victory sees the Jos club sit in third place in Group A, and seven points off leaders Bendel Insurance.
However, in the second half, Sumfat Julius proved to be the hero as he netted the decisive winner to send them through to the finals.
Remo boys sail past El Kanemi
The second final of the day saw Beyond Limits and surprise finalist El Kanemi Warriors deliver an entertaining six-goal thriller.
It was a dominant performance from the home team with Opeyemi Yusuf and Oluwanseun Akanji the stars as No Limits defeated El Kanemi 4-2 to set up a delicious final against Mees Palace.
Beyond Limits took a 2-0 lead courtesy of a brace from Seun but El Kanemi pulled one back to make it 2-1 heading into the break.

Akure boys, Sunshine Stars are the latest to book their spot in the NPFL LaLiga U-15 semifinal alongside Plateau United's Mees Palace after knocking out Shooting Stars.
Seun’s partner, Yusuf restored the lead after the break but El Kanemi won’t be defeated so easily as they pulled another goal back.
However, there will be no denying Remo's glory on the day as Yusuf delivered the goal of the day to seal the deal for No Limits.
