Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to be a fan of Yves Bissouma, and a move could be made for him despite his current employers being their cross-town rivals.
Arsenal are reportedly interested in making a move for Mali international Yves Bissouma, who is currently contracted to their bitterest rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined the Lilywhites last summer but struggled to settle into the team as he battled injuries and a lack of trust from then-Spurs manager Antonio Conte.

Gary Neville insists Man United signings not good enough to help them challenge Man City or Arsenal
Gary Neville has criticised Manchester United's summer signings saying he never thought for one second that they would be good enough to help the Red Devils compete with Manchester City and Arsenal.
Last season now seems to be forever ago, as Bissouma has been an integral part of Spurs resurgence under current boss Ange Postecoglou, but they could be set to lose him.
Arsenal eye Bissouma
According to a report by Fichajes, Mikel Arteta wants to add to his collection in midfield and has his sights set on the former Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder.
Given the intense rivalry between Arsenal and Tottenham and the fact that Bissouma still has until 2026 before his current deal with Spurs expires, the Gunners will have to pay through the nose if they are to prise him away from the Postecoglou-led side.
Also, given Daniel Levy’s aversion to doing deals with perceived Premier League rivals, the likelihood of Arteta landing this target is even more unlikely.
