Labbadia rejects position
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are still without a head coach heading into the international break after reports suggest that Labbadia rejected the head coach role.
According to Ojora Babatunde on X, “Breaking: Newly appointed Super Eagles German tactician, Bruno Labbadia has decided to dump the Nigerian job as per various reports in Germany.”
It has been reported from Germany that Labbadia decided to reject the head coach role of the Super Eagles.
However, there has been no reason as to why he decided to not accept the role given to him by the NFF.
As it stands, the Nigeria national team is without a head coach and the NFF will be looking for a possible solution to the issue.
The Super Eagles will play their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match at home against Benin on September 7.
