Versatile, talented left-back Derrick Ndahiro is reportedly moments away from joining Rwandan outfit Police Football Club.
The Uganda Cranes full-back flew to Rwanda on Monday, and the two parties have reached an agreement on a deal, as per Swift Sports.
He has spent the past two seasons at URA FC, having joined them at the start of the 2021/22 season from SC Villa, but decided against a contract extension.
It was initially expected that he would stay a Tax Collector, having trained with them for the larger parts of preseason, as he also featured in several of their friendly games.
Ndahiro has relatively astounding experience at the top level, as he has played 77 Uganda Premier League matches for both URA and SC Villa.
Having featured 45 times for Villa in the league in two seasons, he added 32 for URA over a similar spell, including 19 last season.
Ndahiro and Rwanda have previously had a connection and years back, he was convinced to play for their national team, the Amavubi Stars, but it fell through.
He eventually decided to play for Uganda and recently played at the 2021 African Nations Championships (CHAN) in Algeria
