Having joined the Purple Sharks from KCCA FC in 2021, Aliro went on to become one of the key pieces of the team in the last two years.

After failing to impress at Tanzania’s Yanga, winger Moses Aliro is now said to be in advanced talks with Ugandan side URA FC.

Reports suggest that a deal is expected to be struck between the player and the tax collectors.

Aliro was one of the players who had trials with Yanga but did not do enough to earn himself an employment contract with the Tanzanian champions.

Having joined the Purple Sharks from KCCA FC in 2021, Aliro went on to become one of the key pieces of the team in the last two years.

Aliro can play as a right-side winger and as a right-back.

He is a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Wakiso Giants in June and has the right to look for a club of his choice.

The tax collectors are in a rebuilding phase and started the transfer window by adding younger players to the squad.

Denis Luzige Kisiriko, John Innocent Kisolo and Godfrey Sekibengo are some of the new recruits for the four-time league champions.
