AFC Leopards have been handed a reprieve after the Football Kenya Federation appeals committee set aside some of the punitive fines ordered by the competitions committee.
Ingwe had suffered a three-point deduction following fans’ chaos that disrupted a Premier League match against Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu on April 16.

"The FKF appeals committee has rendered its decision on an appeal lodged by AFC Leopards against the decision of the FKF Leagues and Competitions Committee on the abandoned Match no. 222 against Kakamega Homeboyz," a statement on Sunday read.
"That the FKF-PL round 25 match no.222 be awarded to Kakamega Homeboyz on a three (3) point, two (2) goal basis.
"The decision to dock AFC Leopards SC 3 points is set aside. That AFC Leopards SC shall cater for or refund medical costs incurred by the center referee, Mr. Michael Obuya.
