The former Maroons FC shot-stopper had an outstanding individual season in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Tamale noted that his decision to join Rayon Sports was informed after he engaged Uganda Cranes winger Joackim Ojera.
"You can't go in a team or country without consulting any of the people who play that country," Tamale told Pulse Sports.
"So, in my case, I consulted Joackim Ojera (he features for Rayon Sports), who told me a lot, the challenges and good things."
"As a player, you have to decide, he assured me of the good hospitality at the club, where they treat you as a family, and that's why I decided to join the club," Tamale added.
Tamale's good display saw him pick up 13 clean sheets and seven Man of the Match awards in the 25 league games he featured.
At Rayon Sports, Tamale will try to guide the 'Gikundiro' to the CAF Confederation Cup group stages for the first time in the club's history and retain the domestic cup.
