Harper has not played a game of football since the begining of March, with his club now giving an update as to why he has not played.
Exeter City have provided an update on why Vincent Harper has not been part of their last three matchday squads, which also explains why he was not a part of the recent Harambee Stars squad.
Harper, who has made 32 appearances for the side since making his debut last year, has established himself as the club’s first choice left wing back, before he unfortunately sustained an ankle injury which will rule him out for weeks.
This is after a statement by the club’s social media channels was released after their win over Burton back in mid-March.

STARS ABROAD Kenyan defender pockets Jamie Vardy and co as Bristol City claim priceless win over Leicester
The Harambee Stars defensive prospect stood tall to help deny Leicester a win in an English Championship clash on Friday afternoon.
“Vincent Harper was absent from the squad after sustaining an ankle injury which should keep him out for 3-4 weeks, Gary Caldwell has confirmed post-match,” the club confirmed on their social media pages.
Harper was part of the Harambee Stars squad that drew 2-2 with Russia in a friendly match that took place in Turkey last October but did not make his debut.
Given Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma was injured as well, this window would have been a good opportunity for him to make his debut and earn Engin Firat’s trust. Instead, AFC Leopards’ Vincent Mahiga got to make his debut and did well against Malawi and Zimbabwe.

Both Wanjau-Smith and Harper used to play with each other for Cribbs, in the ninth tier of English football, but Harper has since broken into the EFL for Exeter in League One.
Harper may have to bid his time by waiting longer before he makes his debut.
The pacey left back was born in Nairobi but soon after moved to England where he began his journey as a professional footballer.
He started out his career at the Bristol City academy after which he joined Gloucester, Weston-super-Mare AFC, and Bath City on loan.

Engin Firat: Harambee Stars coach’s cries over salary delays finally heard
Harambee Stars coach Engin Firat’s previous complaints over delayed payment of his salary seem to have been resolved.
He would later move to sixth-tier side Chippenham in 2021 for a short stint before joining Eastleigh FC in the fifth tier.
Exeter City saw his potential and signed him in July after which he has been an integral part of the squad starting in all but three games. The left-back had 71 appearances for Eastleigh FC, netting six times.
Harper had also earlier this year earned an England call-up for the England C match against Wales in March where he played a full 90 minutes in their 1-0 victory.
