Seven-time Uganda Premier League Express FC will be in a vengeful mood as they make a long trip to the West Nile against Arua Hill SC on Wednesday at the Barifa Stadium.

The Red Eagles were beaten 1-0 by the Leopards in the first round, courtesy of an Isaac Ogwang first-half goal at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

This was an addition to the agony the West Nilers caused last season, as they defeated Express 2-0 and 1-0 at home and enemy territory, respectively.

Victory for James Odoch and his side will be the first time they get a top-flight win over their opponent, who only joined the UPL last season.

"We are fighting to see that we improve in these remaining games and change our position on the log," said Odoch to the media.

Express played out a one-all stalemate with Wakiso Giants in their last game, with Allan Kayiwa netting to earn them a point.

The goal took the marksman to 11 goals in the league and leads the topscorers' charts, ahead of SC Villa forward Charles Bbaale, who is on 10.

"We wanted to get maximum points, but also, a point is not bad, but we'll prepare and try to get as many points as possible."

Express occupy ninth on the 15-team log with 30 points from 23 games, and pending results elsewhere, victory could see them move up to sixth.

On the other hand, Arua Hill, who sit fifth with 34 points in 23 games, drew their last match 2-2 with neighbours and nemesis Onduparaka FC last time out.
