Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada helped Aalborg finish the Danish second division regular season top of the league following a 2-0 win on Saturday.
Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada was instrumental in helping Aalborg get all the three points against Hillerod to finish their regular Danish second division campaign top after 22 games.
Odada, who has scored four goals and registered three assists from deep in midfield this season, came on as a substitute, and his contributions were integral to helping the side get an 85th minute victory.
Aalborg barely had possession of the ball before Adrian Justinussen put the home team 1-0 ahead in the fourth minute.

Hillerod's Rasmus Moller also had a fine header opportunity before Aalborg equalised in the eighth minute. Mathias Jorgensen capitalised on Oliver Ross's work to score for the fourth game in a row.
In the second half, Hillerod attempted to apply pressure on Aalborg in the opening moments, but the away team gained more control of the game.
This dominance became increasingly apparent in the last 20-25 minutes, during which Aalborg's substitutes, including Odada, made a positive impact.
It was in the final quarter of the game that Aalborg pushed for the winner, which came five minutes before full time when Kasper Jorgensen smashed the ball into the nearest corner of the goal with his left foot.

Odada, who once trialed at Inter Milan and Juventus, believes he can return to that level soon considering he has been in stellar form for Danish outfit AaB Fodbold.
A minute before the end of regulation time, Malthe Hojholt could have sealed the victory with a wider margin, but William Lykke made a crucial save to keep it 2-1.
In stoppage time, Hillerod came close to equalising, but Jakob Ahlmann heroically cleared the ball off the goal line.
With that, three crucial points were secured in a challenging away game.
Now with the regular season in the Danish second division concluded, Aalborg holds a two-point lead over Sonderjyske and a 15-point lead over Vendsyssel FF in third place ahead of 10 upcoming promotion games.
