Tusker were stunned 2-1 by Wazito on Sunday, relinquishing their lead at the top to Gor Mahia with two games remaining.
Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano believes the title race is still far from over despite the 2-1 loss to Wazito FC at the Muhoroni Stadium last Sunday.
A brace by Collins Neto was enough to give the relegation-battling side all three points, sinking the hopes of Tusker as they were unable to restore parity with Got Alila proving too steep for them.

The in-demand forward's contract expries on Friday 30 June, after which he will become a free agent.
"It’s still too early for any team to celebrate. We were at the top of the table a couple of days ago and we have since been dislodged to the second spot," Matano told The Star.
"Just as it happened in 2021, the season might be decided on the final day of the competition. Only two points separate us from leaders Gor Mahia and another two points separate us from third-placed Nzoia Sugar. At this rate anything is bound to happen," he added.

The reigning champions will face an already relegated Vihiga Bullets and a stubborn John Kamau-coached Posta Rangers before the end of the season.
Gor Mahia still have to face a bullish Kakamega Homeboyz and an already-safe Nairobi City Stars. They lead the standings in 67 points, two behind Tusker, but with a superior goal difference to their opponents.
