The Tax Collectors lost 4-3 in post match penalties after a 2-2 draw in 90 minutes and Timbe says the players were overly confident.

URA FC coach Sam Timbe has rued his team's complacency following their shock exit from the Stanbic Uganda cup round of 64 tie against Uganda Pentecostal University.

The Tax Collectors lost 4-3 in post match penalties after a 2-2 draw in 90 minutes and Timbe says the players were overly confident.

"It was a terrible result that's without a doubt, the players felt overly confident and allowed the opponent to grow into the game which is unacceptable," Timbe lamented.

"We also could not have our new additions in Joshua Lubwama and Alfred Leku cleared on time to play which also in a way derailed our plans.”

“But we have moved on, we are now focused on the second round of the league," Timbe added.

The tax collectors begin their second round league campaign with a home game against Onduparaka FC on Saturday 11th February.
