This decision comes after escalating tensions over various operational aspects between Mwesigwa and SC Villa President Omar Mandela.
Mwesigwa, who had been in office for barely a month, is believed to have been relieved of his duties by President Mandela.
While Mwesigwa initially insisted that he remained with the club, telling website the Sports Nation, “I am still at the Club,” his absence from the Club offices this week seems to confirm the rumours of his departure.
