Uganda Martyrs LWFC's title hopes could be over after losing 3-1 to Asubo Gafford Ladies FC in the FUFA Women Super League game played at St. Gerald's Ground in Lubaga on Saturday morning.
The visitors scored as early as the fifth minute, thanks to Sarah Nakuya's header before Sumaya Nalumu tapped in the hosts' equaliser in the 29th minute.
Ten minutes before halftime Teddy Nyafono restored Asubo's lead before Kamiyat Naigaga stretched the advantage from a solo run in the 56th minute.

Asubo registered their second win of the season and became the first team to defeat Martyrs in the latter's backyard this campaign.
Despite the defeat, Martyrs remained second with 19 points, 11 behind leaders Kampala Queens WFC who have a game in hand. Asubo also stayed bottom of the 10-team log with seven points.
Matchday, 11 of the FWSL, will continue on Sunday with two fixtures; Kampala Queens will host She Corporate, while Lady Doves will visit Makerere University WFC.
