The Serie A star revealed that he had to block his sister on social media after she got in bed with the enemy
Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi revealed that he ‘blocked’ his sister, Chiara, on social media after she celebrated Juventus' Coppa Italia triumph with her partner, Weston McKennie.
Frattesi’s sister dines with the enemy
Chiara's celebration on the pitch of the Stadio Olimpico, following Juventus’ 1-0 victory over Atalanta, caused a minor uproar among Inter fans. Despite the family connection to a rival club, Frattesi eventually took it in stride, acknowledging that everyone has their own life and relationships.
He told La Republica, “I blocked her on all social media for four days. We make fun of ourselves. The fact that she is so open doesn’t bother me. Everyone has their own life, you can’t put anyone under a glass cage.”
Frattesi's Commitment to Inter
Frattesi joined Inter from Sassuolo last summer but struggled for consistent playing time under Simone Inzaghi, making just six Serie A starts. However, he made the most of his opportunities, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists across 1555 minutes of action.
The midfielder also stated his unwavering desire to help Inter, shutting down rumours of a potential move to AC Milan
Following his first season at Inter, Frattesi has also been called up by Italy for the 2024 European Championships and is expected to be a key figure as the Azzurri defined their crown.
