Seven countries have wrapped up qualification to the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, following completion of Matchday four of the qualifiers on Wednesday.

Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, Algeria, Tunisia and Burkina Faso joined Ivory Coast, who automatically booked their spot as the hosts.

Senegal sealed their slot after Boulaye Dia's strike sunk Mozambique on Tuesday, to take them to 12 points, eight ahead of the latter with two games to play.

Morocco didn't have to break a sweat as they needed just six points off Liberia and South Africa to make it to Ivory Coast.

Their other opponent Zimbabwe, whom they were bound to play in September last year, was suspended by FIFA for government intervention in football matters.

South Africa progressed to the finals with just four points after they beat Liberia 2-1 on Tuesday, courtesy of Zakhele Lepasa and Milhali Mayambela.

Meanwhile, Dango Quattara secured Burkina Faso a 1-1 draw at Togo, to take their Group B tally to 10 points and secure a spot in the finals.

On the other hand, Haythem Jouini netted the only goal of the evening as Tunisia edged Libya 1-0 to take them to 10 points and secure qualification.

Algeria, who are Uganda's group mates, also made the finals as their 12-point tally can not be bettered by the rest.

In the same group (F), Tanzania and Uganda are joint runners-up with four points each. Their fate will be decided as each has to take on Niger and Algeria.
